If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen with CADAC
Following their award winning "Survive Darkest Africa" winter campaign,CADAC's summer street pole campaign is getting South Africans giggling with clever twists on familiar idioms.
Street poles featuring headlines such as "If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen", "To be more sociable become an outsider", and "Dine out more often", along with relaxed lifestyle images of people enjoying the CADAC Patio Range, are intended to get more South Africans out of their kitchens, onto their patios, and using CADAC barbeques this summer.
According to Justine Lawson, Marketing Manager of CADAC, "For many South Africans summer means that it's time to 'braai', and our campaign is intended to remind those whose barbeques have rusted or are just no longer up to scratch that CADAC's Patio Living range offers them a wide variety of choices – from charcoal barbeques, like the Neoway and Charcoal Pro, to gas barbeques, such as the Patio Entertainer, Grand Supreme and Mega Pro, that transform the patio into a gourmet kitchen. With this summer set to be one of the hottest in recent years, what better time to get out of the sweltering kitchen and get sociable on the patio with a brand new CADAC barbeque, your favourite barbeque recipes, and a chilled liquid beverage – this is the idea that our summer campaign conveys."
