CADAC Kettle Braai

The well-known CADAC kettle braai has become a frequent companion where good food is prepared outdoors, whether it is at home or out camping.  Every CADAC kettle braai is made of rust-proof enamelled steel and stands on fixed, anodised aluminium legs.

The simplest model in the range is the Charcoal Mate.  Its hook-on lid incorporates dual vents for more even heat distribution and has an insulated, thermoplastic handle that stays cool; the lid also acts as a wind shield when propped up.  The larger, 57cm Charcoal Pro is ideal for preparing whole cuts of meat and roasts for the entire family.  It has additional features, such as a stainless steel ash-collecting bowl with symmetrical air control system that prevents ash from blowing all over your patio.  A barbeque tool holder, wire cage and stainless steel drip pan are included; the latter is mounted high to prevent ash from falling in.  The Pro is also wheeled for easy portability.

The Neoway is also 57cm in size and shares many of the features of the other models.  However it differs in that it has two plastic condiment trays attached to the legs.  The folding grid makes coal top-up easy and the lid has a stay-cool handle mounted on top of the dome.  Several accessories are available for our kettle braais, like a choice of cooking grids, rib and roast racks, vegetable roasters, a round barbeque griller (ideal for boerewors), barbeque utensil racks, charcoal rails and condiment trays.  Additional extras that are available include a fish griller, grill scrubber, meat thermometer and either aluminium or stainless steel drip trays.
