CADAC’s Kettle Braais Are Ideal For Picnic Cooking
Kettle braais have become very popular due to their versatility. With the lid off, they essentially do what a normal open braai does, but the possibilities increase with the lid closed, presenting more cooking options, finer control over heat distribution and increasing the number of foods that can be cooked in it. It serves like an oven, but the food has that authentic charcoal-grilled taste and aroma. CADAC offers three different kettle braais.
The Charcoal Mate sits at the entry of the range and presents the most affordable kettle braai from CADAC. It may have fewer features than the more expensive models, but it has the same top quality vitreous enamel steel construction. It stands on fixed anodised aluminium legs and all the handles are cool-touch thermoplastic. The convenient hook-on lid acts as a wind shield and has dual vents for fine temperature control. The Charcoal Mate can be used in conjunction with a charcoal grid or a hinged cooking grid.
The CADAC Charcoal Pro is bigger but shares many of its basic features with the Mate. However, it is wheeled on two legs and it is noticeably larger. The high-mounted drip pan prevents ash from falling in and there is a stainless steel ash collector at the bottom. This has a symmetric air control system that prevents ash from blowing all over your patio. The Pro package includes a BBQ tool holder, wire cage and stainless steel drip pan.
